A pore tightening mask that comes in an adorable plastic egg? Yes please. Tony Moly’s Egg Pore Tightening Cooling Pack caught my eye a couple weeks ago, and when I realized I needed a good rinse off, clay-based mask I added this to my cart on oo35mm (plus a couple other products, let’s be honest here), and hit go. So here’s a quick review after giving it a try!
This mask runs about $14.99 and at first glance I was disappointed by how much product it contained. The consistency is a fluffly texture, not unlike whipped creamcheese. But after testing a tiny bit on my hand, I was please to discover that a little goes a very long way. As you rub the product in, it becomes thicker and creamier than it appears at first blush.

I applied the mask after using my usual nighttime two-step cleansing routine (you can read about those products here). It has a fresh, pleasant scent, kind of like clean laundry but not quite as chemical-y. That said, if you’re sensitive to fragrance, this is not a good product for you.
The mask dried quickly but not with that super crazy tight feeling that you get from some clay-based masks, where you feel like it will crack if you smile or talk. It was pleasantly cooling and a little tingly! After washing it off I noticed that my skin felt very smooth and my pores did appear visibly tighter across my T-Zone, though I don’t know if those are long-term effects. My gut tells me that the effects are temporary, but I could see using this being a great option to use before a big night out if you wanted to do a full face of make up. I will definitely enjoy using this once a week as a great complement to my more moisturizing masks and treatments.
For value, results, user experience, I give this mask 5 stars!
This product looks so cute and I love your selfies! ^^ I haven’t bought cute Korean cosmetics in a looong time but this makes me miss it. Even if the effects are temporary, at least it was fun to use – and isn’t that the main thing? 😉
